  6. Training is overrated. Injuries suck. Keep trying all the angles, something is bound to help.
  7. Rambling is life. I've been struggling with my running "goals" lately. I've given thought to carrying a can of tuna fish or maybe some other odd grocery item, just to see if it garners a reaction from anyone. I'm guessing this comment is not really "on topic?"
  8. One miscreant can ruin track access for everyone. Bureaucracy is power. Budget is futile. Old crappy tracks appreciated users because they help keep the weeds down. Two drinks per day have helped my waistline grow.

  11. I prefer half marathons over full marathons because the training doesn't eat up so much of my life and the recovery is just a few hours. With the amount of running I've been doing lately I'll probably only run 5ks (if I ever run races again).

    What's that saying? Out like a duck, in like a emu? In like a gopher, out like a squirrel? I know there's some "folksy" saying that's supposed to explain how the weather will transition from Winter to Spring.
