  1. Congratulations! Maybe you can market your training plan.

    Just so you know...

Sounds like progress. Slow and steady wins the race. Just remember that it's not a race.
  3. Time away is good. I find that the return is super hard. It seems natural to increase the mileage and before I know it I've come back too fast and the problem is back. I'm currently riding a bike and maybe run once per week for two miles. *fighting the urge to run longer *

    1st 5K in Forever

    Congrats on all that stuff.
  5. THREASY!!!!!!!!! Now this is the kind of bloop I remember fondly when I think of the old days of blooping.
  6. choose six "workouts." roll a dice (die) and do the corresponding "workout."
  7. Staying smart with the "comeback" and balancing donut and beer intake has got to be one of the hardest things to balance. I'm proud of you!!
  8. Saturday morning's weather was exquisite. Glad the running is progressing smoothly.

    New gear. Running! 2:01:39.

His name is "Will." Where there's a will, there's a way. Get it done.
  10. Training is overrated. Injuries suck. Keep trying all the angles, something is bound to help.
  11. Rambling is life. I've been struggling with my running "goals" lately. I've given thought to carrying a can of tuna fish or maybe some other odd grocery item, just to see if it garners a reaction from anyone. I'm guessing this comment is not really "on topic?"
  12. One miscreant can ruin track access for everyone. Bureaucracy is power. Budget is futile. Old crappy tracks appreciated users because they help keep the weeds down. Two drinks per day have helped my waistline grow.

    my running club

    Greatest hits. Thanks for buying.
  14. Running is better when shared with friends. Beer also.
  15. I prefer half marathons over full marathons because the training doesn't eat up so much of my life and the recovery is just a few hours. With the amount of running I've been doing lately I'll probably only run 5ks (if I ever run races again).
