I just always assumed we'd one day wake up and decide it was the natural next thing to do in life. But after following the "go to college get job get married buy house" playbook for so long, we realized that 1. that playbook doesn't work the same as it used to, and 2. it was for someone else's life, not ours. We've been doing our own thing since, which one day may or may not include kids, and we've never been happier.
