So...it's me...and yes, I'm still alive (ob-viously...  -Snape).  So - I was talking to my brother a couple of weeks ago, and both of us are restarting things in a more serious manner.  So, he has told me that my Christmas gift this year from him is an entry to the Flying Pig half...Yay!  I can't wait...it was my first ever half back in 2009, and I'm so excited to be going back there for the 20th anniversary race!  Woo hoo!!  So - I'll be posting my training and stuff in here, and I'll be starting soon as I'm basically completely rebuilding.  So, looking forward to the support I know and love from this group and that has guided me through my previous big races.

That's wonderful! If I can ever get over this injury thing I might come join you there! Or maybe I'll be a Loop cheering squad!

I don't know. New website and all. Are we still supposed to be supportive and encouraging? Seems like we've been there and done that.

Glad you're getting back to it, wish I could be there, the Pig was a fun race. Daughter's college graduation and son's last show choir performance are that same weekend.

I ran the 10K there in '14 and have no desire to run any farther in Cincinnati. Those hills are BRUTAL! I admire you for doing it, buddy.

They are, but it's a gorgeous course with lots and lots of crowd support.  And the entire climb, I'll be thinking of the view out over the river that greets me.  And thanks!  It's brutal, but that's one of the reasons I like it...lol

Glad to see you're on the wagon with putting in regular miles and now the Flying Pig Half to train for!  Wow!  Great job Loopy!

I've always wanted to run that one...I'm going to have to check out the date, especially if it becomes a Loopfest.  Have fun!
