bob is in oregon. wrote me when i was there last month in an effort to meet up, apparently still under the illusion i’m an actual person. gonzo recently reacted to a photo of me with a questionable beard when i was younger in which i wondered if it made me look psychotic. he posted photo of himself in similar psychotic beard, which only seemed to reinforce my point. so at least those two are still ok. worst part about facebook was discovering that some of the people here were actual  humans and not just more aliases i hade made up in late-night drunken stupors.

I have to think of the names but there were two loopsters that I was never sure if they were people or more Garies and I was always afraid to ask.  

Saw a fb update from JW a few months ago. He looked well and happy then. Ditto the brilliance of Bacon.

I also miss when I wrote a lot and some of it was interesting and even funny (at least to me).

I wouldn't rely on facebook either ;-) 

I tell my wife about my imaginary internet friends, it's a shock to us both if we meet actual people in actual life from this..

in the “some people are nicer on the loop than in real life” department, i got a text from gumbo today and she was flipping me off.

Funny how you can be running along and suddenly a song that has zero to do with running hits you in the head. Actually, it was a line drive hit by one of three kids who should have known better, but still.

And in the post-COVID era (actually I'm in more of a Gannett-COVID era, my beard is pretty white except when I eat blueberries. Never underestimate the joy of a good late-night drunken stupor ...

(when i first saw this post i thought LORDY KRG POSTED???? THERE'S HOPE FOR THE WORLD AFTER ALL. oh, well.)

And if you're out for a run and face the choice between getting nailed by a line drive or not, maybe go with that second one.
