When the Covid 19 becomes the Covid 27

Who knew that staying indoors, driving instead of walking, and having outdoor restaurants be your only form of entertainment, would lead to weight gain???

I am almost unable to deal with myself at the moment on this front.  I am at the limit of my wardrobe and I refuse to buy new clothes and accept that I might stay at this weight for a while.  I am honestly and simultaneously doing everything I can and having no idea what I am doing.

I started tracking my calories and dropped half a pound.  HALF A POUND!!  Usually when I start doing something serious about my weight, I drop five pounds in the first week!  Now, barely anything!!

I hear this little voice telling me that I am approaching middle age and this is the new reality but that can’t be right!  Wasn’t it just last week that I was doing body shots in the basement of the Chelsea Hotel while Gwen Stafani’s hot new banger, Hollaback Girl, was packing the dance floor???  Besides, I am WAY too immature to be nearing my 40’s. No, it can’t be that.

Okay, until I figure this out, I am just going to keep at it.  Slow and steady. Just like my running.

Is there where I say how happy I'd feel if I were nearing my 40s?😘

I could stand to lose 10, plus there's this other thing, which I'm actually in the middle of writing about.

All the yes for the outdoor dining/drinking being the only form of entertainment. I’m actually okay with this. Lol

I mean, as a lifestyle, I am okay with it.  It’s my pants size that is suffering. 😂

I gained a few pandemic pounds and some high cholesterol to go with it (and I just finished a master's degree in nutrition so it feels especially like that shouldn't have happened.) Since starting to work on tackling that I'm down a few pounds, but it's been slow. I did buy a new pair of pants because I had no blue jeans I could comfortably wear.

I am exclusively in dresses, skirts and stretchy pants right now. Sigh...

Good luck!
